Kashmir Houseboat Tour
Day 1 – Arrival in Srinagar | Houseboat Stay Experience
Upon arrival in Srinagar, you will be welcomed and transferred to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake or Nigeen Lake. After check-in, relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings of the lake. In the evening, enjoy a shikara ride, gliding through floating gardens and local markets. Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 2 – Srinagar Sightseeing | Mughal Gardens & Local Experience
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal gardens including Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. You may also visit local markets for handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, and dry fruits. Return to the houseboat in the evening and enjoy dinner with a peaceful lake view. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 3 – Excursion to Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Gulmarg, known for its scenic beauty and snow-covered peaks. Enjoy the drive through pine forests and meadows. You may opt for the Gondola ride (at additional cost) to enjoy breathtaking views. Return to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 4 – Excursion to Pahalgam
After breakfast, head towards Pahalgam, a picturesque valley along the Lidder River. Enjoy the scenic drive through saffron fields and countryside views. Upon arrival, explore nearby attractions such as Betaab Valley and Aru Valley (local transport required). Spend quality time amidst nature before returning to Srinagar in the evening. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 5 – Excursion to Sonmarg
After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Sonmarg, also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Enjoy views of glaciers, alpine meadows, and the Sindh River. You may take a pony ride to Thajiwas Glacier (at your own cost). Return to Srinagar by evening. Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 6 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat. Depending on your departure schedule, enjoy some leisure time or last-minute shopping in Srinagar. Later, transfer to the airport for your onward journey, concluding your memorable Kashmir houseboat tour.
