Day 1 – Arrival in Jammu | Transfer to Katra

On arrival at Jammu, you will be greeted and transferred to Katra, the base town for the pilgrimage. The scenic drive passes through hills and rivers, giving a refreshing start to your journey. After check-in at the hotel, spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring the local market. Dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

 Day 2 – Katra Leisure Day | Yatra Preparation

After breakfast, complete your Yatra registration (if not done online). This day is kept for rest and preparation for the trek. You may explore nearby temples, visit Banganga, or shop for essentials required for the pilgrimage. Early night rest is recommended for the next day’s trek. Dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

 Day 3 – Holy Trek to Vaishno Devi Shrine

Early morning, begin the sacred trek to the shrine via Banganga. En route, visit spiritual points like Ardhkuwari Cave, Charan Paduka, and Himkoti. Upon reaching the Bhawan, have darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. Later, you may also visit Bhairon Temple for completing the pilgrimage. Return to Katra by evening (trek, pony, or ropeway optional). Dinner and overnight stay in Katra.

 Day 4 – Local Sightseeing in Jammu

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Jammu city. Visit popular attractions such as Bahu Fort, Bagh-e-Bahu Garden, and Raghunath Temple. Explore local markets for handicrafts, dry fruits, and souvenirs. Return to hotel in Katra for dinner and overnight stay.

 Day 5 – Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jammu railway station or airport for your onward journey, carrying blessings and memories of the divine pilgrimage.
